Pirates of Procyon is a retro sci-fi text based RPG game developed by Snake Head Studios for web & mobile gamers. The game lets players discover new missions, hunt for treasures & battle with other players in PVP. Pirates of Procyon was first launched as web game and was adapted into mobile app.

Campaign

The initial campaign was built to drive conversion to the web game which targeted gamer interested in Mafia Wars, Pirate Clan and other text MMORPG games. The campaigns were delivered in Canada, UK and USA, with USA being segmented into four parts: Southern, Northern, West, Midwest. The main objective of the campaign was to increase number of active players for the browser game which would then shift to mobile game.

The mobile app launch campaigns for Pirates of Procyon implemented a remarketing & new user acquisition strategy using cross media & lookalike audiences through 1st party data. About 90% of the budget was allocated to Facebook & Instagram while 5% was used on Google Discover Ads.

The launch ad campaigns for Flow Weaver implemented a robust 360° advertising strategy which included A/B testing, remarketing, new user acquisition and engagement boost campaigns. 

​Post launch stage focused on promoting sustainable campaigns which were published using Oculus app ads to generate a continuous sales flow for the game.
